I am shy, and the possibility that thousands of people could see this posting is quite daunting....but one of us has to make the first move, and this is too important to foul up. I have alway’s been single. I have pretty much always lived in a little town in Northern Ontario. I’m 48 now, tall but fat, crooked teeth, my skin does not fit, and my mom dress’s me funny. Never had a driver’s licence, or a vehicle. Thanks to my public library I am prepared to have great conversations about lots of things.....except #$#%$ computers (at this point in time). I am extremely interested in history. Specifically twentieth century military history. I enjoy building and painting plastic scale models of armoured fighting vehicles and aircraft and I am pretty good at it. I am hoping that you will already know the difference between a Sten and a Bren, or a Panther and a Tiger...otherwise you have lots to catch up on. I am gainfully employed. I have been flying a desk for past 19 years but I have also done physical stuff. For years I have felt like I was missing out on something by not having a companion ..... even after watching coworkers go through separations and stuff I have never had second thoughts. I am an optimist. Forty years of original Star Trek will do that to you.....and I do believe in love at first sight. I am at a point in my life where I find that I have the confidence to search for that perfect partner, and thanks to the internet it has suddenly become a real possibility. I am looking for an older companion, a Skipper for my Gilligan, a Holmes for my Watson.
